If you are called to deepen your mind-body practice, heal from limiting ways of moving, and connect to the whole-body work of classical pilates, this course is the perfect place to start.

The Level 1 Training will acquaint you with guiding principles and fundamental movements created to restore the body to health.

We will explore Joseph Pilates' classical repertoire exercises alongside The Grounding Practice™ meditations and movements, which complement the work.

The course includes free access to pre-recorded class videos, 10% off all continuing education and workshops moving forward, and a copy of Joseph Pilates' “Return To Life.”


THE WEEKEND
Friday 6/21 5 pm-7 pm: 1 hr  Pilates and Grounding Practice class with Jessie Zalla, followed by introductions, intentions, and a preview of the course material.

Saturday 6/22 11 am-5 pm: Learn the basics of The Grounding Practice, The Classical Pilates Movement Principles, the 10 Fundamental Movements, Introductory-Intermediate Classical Pilates exercises, the History of Pilates, and The Zalla Pilates approach.

Sunday 6/23 11 am-5 pm: Review fundamentals, principles, and exercises. In addition, there will be a pain and injury overview with Kinesiology safety guidelines.
We will review intentions and action steps to move forward with grace and ease to share the work with others or keep it as your own personal practice.

The in-person weekend will come to a close at 5 p.m. Sunday with a led meditation and sound bath. 

Both in person and Zoom attendees are welcome.

$675 ($300 due to secure your spot. Balance due on or before 6/20/24)

JESSIE ZALLA passionately believes that movement heals. Through hands-on guidance and thoughtful movement instruction, Jessie adapts to the diverse needs of her clients. Her classes inspire better posture and a reconnection to inner strength and bone health. The goal is for her clients to achieve movement with ease and efficiency through building a strong supple spine, whole body strength, improved breath capacity, restored vitality and an elevated spirit.

Jessie has taught Pilates, dance, breath work, movement meditations and anatomy since 1997.
